A rough full scale is used to see how the sun would play off of the surfaces.

The graphic on the upright is interesting in that I was trying to provide grip on the surface that people are warned not to stand. The design is intended to emulate water ripples. These pieces are quite important for the company as we managed to make them with gas assisted injection moulding processes. This shaved lot's of weight out of the design and made it very strong. It would later come back as valuable knowledge when working on snowboard helmets.
